Banking technology
Financial institutions continue to operate under a strict regulatory framework that is constantly evolving. Regulatory changes are forcing banks to exercise greater transparency in liquidity and risk management while respecting data confidentiality. Therefore, the banking sector must adapt its information systems increasingly faster to meet security standards while remaining competitive.
Open Banking and Digitalization are bringing new players, new customer needs, and new ways of consuming information to the financial ecosystem. All of this translates into the greatest challenge in recent years for System Security and organizations. Our advisors will help you implement the latest technologies and methodologies in this area.
Day-to-day operations must continue, and we understand that the Core Banking system must remain operational and efficient. It is necessary to make adaptations to new business processes and regulatory requirements, as well as to facilitate its transition to Open Banking.
At Linko Consulting, we have teams and professionals with extensive experience in Core Banking Platforms for both evolutionary services and maintenance services.
Our consultants have broad functional and technical knowledge in the main functional areas of banking platforms (securities, payment methods, risk, payments and collections (SEPA), and accounting).
These services cannot remain stuck in the past and must evolve in line with new techniques and methodologies. At Linko Consulting, we have experts in the latest Agile methodologies, with official certifications from scrum.org.
Ultimately, we want our clients to focus on the tasks that provide the most value to their organizations. At Linko Consulting, we have specialists in any functional or technical area who will allow you to increase capacity on an ad-hoc basis to meet temporary needs.
Insurance projects
For a long time, mergers and acquisitions have allowed businesses within the banking and finance industry to enjoy a great deal of success. We’re now seeing an increasing amount of this activity taking place in the insurance sector. As a result, there’s a high demand for change and transformation professionals.
The European Solvency II directive, which requires EU insurance companies to hold a certain amount of capital to reduce risk of insolvency, has allowed many businesses to enjoy a significant surplus that they can then invest in mergers and acquisitions.
According to KPMG, 84% of insurance firms plan to make at least one acquisition. In addition to this, a further 94% expect to make one divestiture, in turn leading to further mergers and acquisitions.
With such a large increase of mergers and acquisitions on the horizon, the landscape of the insurance sector is beginning to change. As businesses prepare for re-structuring, there’s a significant demand for change professionals to work across various functions of organisations.
At Linko Consulting, we have specialists in any functional or technical area who will allow you to increase capacity on an ad-hoc basis to meet temporary needs.
Established firms are investing in the technological expertise offered by new insurtech companies. A partnership of a recognised and respected insurance company with a new, innovative start-up can bring mutual benefit. The older company can provide customers with a better user experience thanks to the access they now have to new technologies. In turn, the start-up can share the success of their partner’s reputation, not to mention their established client base.
If mergers and acquisitions are to be successful, the transition process has to be smooth. As processes change and people get to grips with new systems, it’s essential that there’s as little disruption as possible for the overall business. As such, the various changes to the industry have created a large demand for change professionals.
Permanent staff will be needed to carry projects through to Business as Usual stage after merges have been implemented.
